Jessica White, President

Jessica started her career in 2006 as a Post-Partum and Nursery RN where she developed a passion for helping new families breastfeed. She became an IBCLC in 2010 and developed a hospital based inpatient and outpatient lactation program to expand access to clinical lactation care in her area. She completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2021 and now provides lactation and pediatric care at The Pediatric Center, LLC in Thomasville, Georgia. She has served as a committee chair with SELCA, committee member for the Southwest Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition, and has served the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition as Scholarship Committee Chair, Board Member. She has a passion for increasing access to breastfeeding support and clinical lactation care throughout Georgia, especially to rural areas in the state.

Teresa McCullen, Vice President

Teresa McCullen has spent many years serving the breastfeeding communities in Augusta and the state of Georgia. She is currently provides lactation care at Augusta University. Teresa has been active in the Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition, the CRSA Breastfeeding Coalition, the Southeast Lactation Consultant Association, and the National Lactation Consultant Alliance.

Anne Lussier, Treasurer

Anne is a wife, mother, Registered Nurse (RN), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Owner of Nursing From The Heart, a Private Lactation Consultant Practice in Carrollton serving families and communities in West Georgia. As a healthcare professional, she specializes in breastfeeding education, support, management and lactation care.

Claire Eden,

Past President

Claire Eden has been supporting breastfeeding families for 25 years and has been an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) since 2009. She was among the first lactation consultants to be licensed in Georgia. She currently serves as the Director of the EPIC® (Educating Physicians and Practices in their Communities) Breastfeeding Program at the American Academy of Pediatrics, Georgia Chapter, developing and delivering breastfeeding education to physicians, hospitals and health care providers across the state through a partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health. Claire serves on the board of directors of several breastfeeding and maternal child health organizations in Georgia and nationally. She and her husband are the proud parents of three adult daughters and her family has enjoyed putting down roots in Georgia area for over 20 years.
